A. and I had the charming ms_kismet around for dinner last night.

The problem is, she's a bit like a quail - tiny, and not much meat on her once you've done roasting.

Actually, I conducted a small experiment - cooking risotto in my big heavy wok. Worked very well, I thought. I even roasted some pumpkin, capsicum and garlic in the oven. Plus some of my secret risotto ingredient - a dash of turmeric. Gives it all a nice golden colour, and just a hint of fire.

Then we had baked apples and watched Doctor Who and basically died from too much sugar.

You do realise that you're not meant to roast her..?


Shes more of a stew kinda person. That way, theres more for everyone :)
