Women of Letters

I'm writing a ghost story. And it's starting to haunt me.

It's about two teenage grunge girls. Now everywhere I go I see girls with dyed hair, ripped tights, and Docs.

Grunge revival? Or just confirmation bias?

Or this: Marieke Hardy and Michaela McGuire are running a literary afternoon at the Bella Union called Women of Letters.

It features women. Reading letters. The last one sold out, and there were queues around the block waiting to get in.

Guests for the April event include Catherine Deveny, Clare Bowditch... and Adalita Srsen from Magic Dirt.

Of course I've booked tickets.

I just wish I could still get away with the little cotton frocks ;_; At my age it just looks silly though.

"Hey! What the hell are you doing hiding underneath the decks?"

"Research!"
