theres good stuff on later albums .. you gotta listen to it, and yeah its a bit more "easy" than angsty young heroin filled nick, but aint we all getting older ;p

there is a town is one of the best songs ever from nocturama, and I like into her arms.. god songs dont turn me off , blues gospel has always been one of his influences

Oh, God songs don't bother me in the slightest! It was just such a badly written line. I find that song really schmaltzy, to be honest.

Never for a minute do I think that artists should preserve the sound of their youth. It's important for their work to develop and mature. Which is why I stop listening at the point I stop liking it :)
