Birthday

It's my birthday today. Dear lord, but I'm getting old. I've had Pink Floyd's "Time" running through my head all morning. This is either because the lyrics seems particularly apt, or I've started going senile and regressing to my Floyd-obsessed youth.

Traditionally, A and I celebrate our birthdays with a Sunday-afternoon pub lunch at the Napier. But the Napier have taken the lentil shepherd's pie off their menu, which was the only thing Jel could eat there.

I was wondering why this wasn't showing up on DW. So, that's sorted.

Obviously, I'm not an expert on Melbourne pubs, but while I look up lentil shepherd's pie why not have a pot luck meal?

Or a BBQ in a park somewhere if it's nice?
