GarageBand ate my life
Aug. 2nd, 2005 02:27 pmWas late to work this morning because I was too busy playing with GarageBand on my new Mac.
It's lots of fun. And incredibly fiddly. Which is the great problem with electronic music. You waste hours adjusting the effects settings or tweaking the volume on individual notes.
I've got a little Evolution music keyboard to play MIDI instruments. But it would help if my playing wasn't quite so sloppy. At some stage I'll get around to plugging my guitar into my iBook and see how well it handles recording.
So I'm making music. But like everything, I need another 4 or 5 hours a days to get it done.
