The Four Bridges
Jan. 30th, 2010 11:30 amI've been running what I call the Three Bridges: Hawthorn Railway Bridge, Hawthorn Bridge, Victoria Bridge and back again. It's a beautiful route, snaking along beside the Yarra, provided you don't mind being run over by cyclists.
Today I added a Fourth Bridge: Walmer Footbridge. That's about a 4.5 km round trip.
*pleased*
(I had to google the name of the Hawthorn Railway Bridge. That lead me to the City of Yarra's Heritage Walks website, which got me very excited. I'm turning into such an old man.)
Also: the only time I listen to music these days is when I'm running. Which means I eye my music collection through the harsh filter of "will this keep me pumped?" Covenant, Saul Williams, Anti-Flag: tick. Tool's meandering, drugged-out "10,000" days: big cross.
