An excellent week off
Mar. 28th, 2010 04:50 pmI took last week off work. It was an excellent plan, because I've had a fantastic week:
We stayed in Point Lonsdale last weekend, diving with nigelw and kitling.
Most week days were spent in the vast and beautiful Redmond Barry reading room at the State Library, working on my novel. It's just past 30,000 words now.
I saw Mali the baby elephant.
We went to a talk at the Wheeler Centre.
And I've seen seven shows at the Comedy Festival, plus I'll be seeing two more tonight.
My body is exhausted. But my soul is just glowing.
