Reasonable enough, yeah?

Details of next week's post-election Republican meeting, to be attended by state chairmen and prominent activists from the conservative wing of the party, are being kept secret for fear of being seen to pre-empt the outcome of the election.

It is intended to look at who should take over chairmanship of the party and whether the party needs to move to the right, and to make plans for the next presidential election.

Um. Did they miss the bit about losing to the Democrats?

Good point. Who does the public vote for after a major economic collapse?

- The Crash of '29 = Franklin D. Rossevelt (Democrat).

- The Savings And Loan Crisis of the 80's and 90's = Bill Clinton (Democrat).

- The 2008 Subprime Meltdown = Barack Obama (Democrat).


Yup. The GOP should definately move to the right. All the way to the right. Then push Sarah Palin over the edge.
