Submissions for the Victorian Premier's Literary Awards close on June the 18th.

One of the categories is 'Prize for an Unpublished Manuscript by an Emerging Victorian'.

So. Can I get my book finished in time?

I doubt this will be feasible, but: how long would it take you to proofread a 75,000 word novel? And what would you charge?

It can't hurt to try - it's good motivation to finishing a draft. This prize is for unedited MSes, so the judges may be somewhat forgiving of superficial problems common to unpublished work.
