Writing Scorecard

There was a slight stuff up - I sent an early draft to a friend for comments, he thought it was the finished piece, and so submitted it for me. Ah well. I explained the confusion in my cover letter.
That's my fourth piece submitted for the year. Which is four times more than I've written in the last decade.
Although I really should try writing something that isn't horror. I enjoy it, and flatter myself I have a reasonably sophisticated take on the genre, but there's not much of a market for it.
And you know how I said yesterday that our flat is on fire? Well,
