I had a genitalia of a day. But I don't care.
Because we just saw the Paradise Motel play at the Northcote Social Club.
We saw them play at the Toff in Town a month and half ago, their first show in ten years. It was fantastic to see them again, but they were obviously very nervous.
Since then, they've been doing a residency at the NSC all April, and the regular practice has clearly paid off. They were haunting and ferocious and excellent.
I'll be going back next week for their last night of their residency.
(We also had dinner there. I had the roo biriyani. It came with a giant naan. Which I shouldn't have eaten, what with it being pure gluten. But I nibbled a little bit, and it was delicious. So I ate the whole lot. I'm going to pay for that tomorrow, but what the hell...)
