Disappointed? Sure. Obviously the money would have been nice. Even nicer would have been having something that high-profile on my resume.

But you can't get too upset about losing something you never had.

Well, not that I'm bitter or anything (I wasn't even in the running, and I said something to this effect before the judging was over), but from watching the last series I did get the impression that they were looking for stuff that wasn't too, you know, intellectually challenging.

(And I do still have your script to read. And send you mine. I've just been out of it for the last couple of weeks, first with the looking for emergency dentristry, and then the hardcore painkiller zombifying daze.)
