Five Things I've Done That You Lot (Probably) Haven't:

1. Interviewed Neil Gaiman.
   Asked a gang on a tram to stop hitting a pensioner. Talked said gang down from stabbing me. Then continued on -- somewhat shaken -- to the launch night for a poetry website.
   
2. Created a free minicomic and handed it out at Goth clubs, as a way of meeting girls. (It worked.)
3. Ridden a decrepit bicycle along the side of the Zambezi River, Zimbabwe.
4. Come face to face with a wild elephant whilst riding a decrepit bicycle along the side of the Zambezi River, Zimbabwe.
5. Won the flash fiction category of the inaugural Australian Horror Writers Association's short story competition

Heh, for a terrifying moment I thought you were planning a trip to Zimbabwe! Then I remembered Thailand. You guys are going to have such an awesome time :) Though Asian elephants are a good deal more amenable to human contact than their African cousins :)
