Zombies make everything better

andricongirl and I saw Pirates of the Caribbean yesterday.

I don't need to tell you how much fun it is. You all saw it weeks ago.

But what really struck me was this: zombies make everything better.

See, We were in Ballarat earlier this week. We did the tourist thing, and went to Sovereign Hill. And that got me thinking about Westerns, and how you could make a pretty decent Western computer role-playing game. But such a game would be infinitely better if it was a zombie Western.

And then, mere days later, I see a pirate movie. Now, pirates are pretty cool in and of themselves. And there's some great acting and a fantastic script. But what really lifts this movie, what really takes it the next level is this: it's a pirate movie...with zombies.

Think about the possibilities. Zombie detective movies. Zombie Vietnam War movies. Zombie Bridget Jones movies. Movies about cute little animals... where the animals are eaten by zombies!
