Unfortunate.

In the window was a big Addidas promotion. "Win a trip to the Beijing Olympics!" said the banner. And the athelete featured underneath it?

I feel sorry for her, though. Back in High School, I was in the rowing First crew. Two weeks before the Head of the River, the big culminative racing event for the year, I pinched a nerve in my neck and couldn't row.
That pissed me off, and that was only a piddling High School sport. To have trained so hard, and then have to miss the Olympics... she must be shattered.
