A good weekend.

Friday was Abyss. The new suit was a hit. And I got to dirty dance with Robi from Tankt.

Saturday I met up with David Conyers. We're writing a Cthulhu Mythos story together, about CIA skulduggery in Africa and the difficulty of staying pure when trying to save the world. Later I got to play with GarageBand on andricongirl's new iBook. Nice.

Sunday I wrote 1,500 words of the Mythos story. The professionals amongst you may laugh. But to me that's like writing War and Peace in a week. Also bought some comics, made a rather fine mock gado-gado, and watched our Pirates of the Carribean DVD.

And this morning I got a thousand odd words on a second story. This one is stranger, more dream like. Then I had to leave for work. Where I discovered one of the computer monitors had gone all Madrid terrorist.

Sans bodycount, of course.

Where there tiny terrorists wandering around looking innocent??? Or just the occaisional broadcast on tv claiming responsibility???

By the time I got to work it had just blown itself up.

But all that other stuff *might* have happened. Possibly. Potentially. Perhaps you can close your eyes and imagine really hard that's what happened.

It all started hours earlier, when the "official" monitors started closing in on it. Not long before you arrived, it must have seen the trap, and hit the big red button... :)
