Writing status

I've had my face pressed so close against it for the last few weeks that I honestly can't tell if it's good or not. People I trust have said it is. So I shall trust them.
Chewing my nails off that I've stuffed something up horribly - left pages out of the script, or written the wrong address on the envelope. But that's just nerves.
And now, theoretically, I can relax.
Except I'm almost guaranteed publication in a Chaosium Cthulhu Mythos anthology if I can get something written soon.
Damn I wish I had a laptop.

I was perving on one or two in OfficeWorks the other day while waiting for stuff to be copied/bound. Some very nice machines there. Wiiide screen, CD/DVD-burner, chunky keyboards with good action, 802.11g wireless, bucket o' RAM, etc. *drool*
I'm a PC-boy so I'm not up with the latest in the Mac world...but it seems that there's plenty out there at reasonable prices.
*crosses fingers for more work soon*
