My home computer has been acting weird. The screen keeps blacking out for a second or two. It's particularly bad when I'm browsing the web -every time I click a link, every time I scroll down a page, every time I type a character, the screen goes black. It is basically unusable

Having downloaded and installed the latest video card drivers, I am assuming it's the video card itself. So I bought a cheap second hand one (from Lanyon Computers, who are cheap, friendly and fast). The card arrived today, and I'll test it out tonight.

Still waiting for my laptop, though.
