Paralympics

Closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games on the TV at the moment.

I watched about as much of them as I watched the Olympics -- not very much.

But (at least theoretically) I think the Paralympics are more interesting than the Olympics. The Olympics ask "what can we achieve?" But the Paralympics ask "what can we overcome?"

not sure all disabled people think it would be to overcome their disability rather than what they can achieve as they are.
