So rare that I drop by sharplittlteeth's ol' blog... and when I do, the world has gone mad!

As a long-time Mythbusters fan I was devastated to witness the arrival of the mythterns. I've gotta say that all but one (and I'll get to that later) shit me to tears. It's a geek show targeted at geeks. Adam and Jamie are such quintessential nerdlingers that they're charming. These new mythterns are such ‘alternate-cool’ blowhards it defies belief. (I'm sorry but you've touched a nerve). Kari is the worst with her posing and daffy outfits and all-attitude-chick angle... Jesus she shits me. I don't want eyecandy! I want dorks with stupid laughs, awkward character traits and odd social skills messing around with science. Not cute try hards, lanky-skater type dudes or tattooed- beanpole-mechanic-chix. Thank God for Christine, who brings the right flavour of geekness to the show—quite, bespectacled, gangly... that's what I want in my geek-fetish show!

On a side note, I notice a new member on the discovery site (as yet unseen by Australian audiences) who seems to have the right pedigree for the show — former ILM animatronics engineer and electronics specialist Grant Imahara. Now that's what it's about!
