So this morning, my work computer froze, and a hideous chemical burning smell filled the air. One of the chips on the motherboard had blown.
This afternoon I was trying to fix the hard drive on a different computer when it suddenly stopped spinning and went very very quiet. Permanently quiet, in fact.
Joy.
Also, I went to the dentist. For the first time in about ten years. Which was okay, actually. But I can understand why people have issues with masked strangers sticking sharp metal probes into thier mouths. It's a trifle... invasive.

Where every PC you touch just seems to either stop working or not do what you want it to do.
I hate those days.
I went to the dentist myself last week, which was amusing.
I had a filling come out about a month ago and I have been avoiding seeing any one about it, living in fear of the british dental system, as it were.
That plus I have a raving fear about sharp things wielded by strangers *in my mouth* I wasnt looking forward to it at all.
Turns out, my new dentist, Local. Is from Sydney.
This makes me feel a hell of a lot better for some reason.. :)
