Nanowrimo word count: 14,600.

No idea if it's deathless brilliance or utter crap. Just racking up the words. Whenever the plot stalls, I have demonic office furniture rush in, waving claws.

Have booked tickets to VCA Puppetry's end of year performance La Fontaine. Mostly becasue we liked the poster.

Their school of music is doing Stephen Sondhiem's Into the Woods. Never seen a Sondheim, but both Joss Whedon and Neil Gaiman praise him highly. And the subject matter - fairytale characters dealing with the dissapoinments that follow "And they all lived happily ever after" - sounds right up my tree.

I depped for a couple of performances of Into The Woods once. It didn't seem like too bad a show - mind you, I hardly got to see the performance as I was sitting in the orchestra pit :-)

I saw "Into the Woods"a few years ago...very humorous musical. Not your typical fairy-tale...plays with established stories and puts some nice twists on things, so I can see why Neil Gaiman would like it.

Sondheim is wonderful. He focuses on character development more than 'Lloyd Webber'. You might like 'Follies' too.
